There are a couple of ways of handling this.
Most programs come with an Uninstall which can usually be found in the "All Programs" list from the Start Menu, below the program launcher. These will generally remove the program and tidy up any associated files.
The other way is to open Control Panel, select Add and Remove Programs and locate the one you want to remove.
The main thing to remember when using either of these methods, is that if you are asked at any time if you wish to remove any files that "may be used by other programs" always click on "No to All"
This will ensure that no important "Dll files" are removed which can cause your pc to fail in other programs.
