  Should I backup my data?

Hmmm, we put our money in a bank to protect it, we make sure there is oil in our cars engine to make sure it is protected, we wear shoes so we don't cut our feet....... I could go on, but really....

Every time you make a change to your computer, there is data change happening, and depending on how much you use it, this can mean a huge change in the way it is setup.

How do I backup?

There are a number of ways to backup your pc.

  1. A second disk drive on the pc itself.
  2. A Tape Drive
  3. A Zip Drive
  4. A CD or DVD Rom
  5. An external "Flash" Drive
  6. To another pc or server on your network

    As you can see, there are many ways, and also many files you either do or don't need to backup, along with a huge array of products purporting to look after this for you. Check carefully before you buy any of these packages to make sure you are using the best one available with proper support.
